Florence

Florence

Florence has spent years unveiling the rich history and subtle beauty of France in general ,and Alsace to curious, open-minded travelers from around the world. Born and raised in the region, her journey has taken her across continents—studying, working, and immersing herself in diverse cultures—before she felt the irresistible pull to return home.

Her path has been as unconventional as it has been formative: producing wines and olive oil on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, guiding travelers through the heights of Machu Picchu in Peru, working aboard cruise ships, and managing boutique hotels across the Greek islands. Each experience has shaped a rare, intuitive understanding of hospitality, landscapes, and human connection.

Today, she lives in a charming half-timbered house surrounded by vineyards and timeless scenery in Alsace, the region of her birth. Passionate about fine wines, gastronomy, and the arts, Florence has cultivated a deep cultural sensibility that extends far beyond guidebooks.

Over the years, she has guided thousands of visitors through the beauty of France and Alsace, including distinguished guests such as the Canadian pop band Hanson, political figures; members of parliament, and even a former prime minister. Among her most memorable encounters was astronaut Buzz Aldrin, whom she had the privilege of guiding in 2019.

Her approach is personal, refined, and immersive. Proud to call this corner of the world her home, Florence invites you to step beyond the surface, leave expectations behind, and experience Alsace as it is meant to be lived—through its stories, its wines, and its soul.
